Reproduction Colt U.S. Army Model 1847 ''Walker'' Percussion Pistol, by A. Uberti, #DO3142, .44 cal., blued 9'' wedge-retained round-to-octagonal barrel has maker's info, black powder warning, and case hardened spring-retained hinged loading lever beneath, ''US/1847'' and Italian marks to right side; blued round 6-shot cylinder is decorated with the ''Texas Rangers-Indians fight'' rolled scene and ''Model U.S.M.R.'' within a fancy riband; open-top frame has ser. no. and Italian marks to bottom, central hammer and trigger, brass ''square-back'' trigger guard and steel backstrap, one-piece varnished walnut grips. Condition is as new retaining all of its deep, glossy original finishes. Action is strong and crisp; bore is brilliant retaining 100% blue (as do cylinder bores) and sharp rifling. Est.: $500-$750.
